Since 2017, we have been passionately dedicated to the cultivation and processing of industrial hemp in Abruzzo.
he strong agricultural tradition of our land inspired and sprouted the dream of bringing hemp back to what it has been for centuries, a plant fundamental to human development and “the most profitable and desirable of crops”, as it was called.
The dream of making “Made in Italy Hemp” the main crop of a new sustainable rural development has set the course for experimentation and technological development that has enabled us to obtain certified and traceable production in all its phases and to close the entire hemp production chain, from cultivation to processing and marketing, within our company.
We cultivate in strict compliance with GACP (Good Agricultural and Collection Practices for medicinal plants) guidelines and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) protocols, to preserve the purity of the plant material as much as possible.
Constantly performed laboratory analyses to verify microbiological requirements and certifications granted by accredited third-party bodies guarantee the high quality and safety of our products.

Our Cultivations
We cultivate outdoors and in greenhouses. We select the fields in advance, ensuring that no chemicals are present. We do not apply pesticides during cultivation so as to preserve the purity of our hemp. Compliance with the main European and national regulations and guidelines enables us to achieve the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations. Any residual seeds, fibers, and foreign contaminants are removed during a thorough process in order to offer a uniform product ready for extraction.
From more than 30 hectares of hemp cultivated in Abruzzo and Veneto in 2017, Green Valley has managed to grow progressively more area, reaching more than 100 hectares cultivated in 2018, up to 136 hectares in 2019. We cultivated three different varieties of industrial hemp: Futura 75, Santhica 70, and Finola. In 2020 and 2021, we experimented with our own genetics, reaching a total of 250 hectares.
